                             Hosts Garba in Los Angeles

              he Gujarati Society of South-
              ern California hosted a Garba
        Tin Cerritos College gymnasi-
        um. The singers of Garba night were
        young & talented Rythum Shashtri
        & Mosami Shah.
            Members of Gujarati Society re-
        sides all over in Southern California.
        GSSC hosts many unique events for
        the community. After blessings of
        its Founder & Philanthropist couple
        B.U. Patel & Chairwoman Pushpa-
        ben Patel Garba were started.
            It was Saturday night and you
        may call a hip fashion show also. The
        attendees  outfits  were  colorful  as
        well as conventional in fashion. Now
        more and more younger generation
        in America started participating &
        learning heavily about every Indian
        festivals & cultures.
            Such second generation of
        American Indians enjoyed GSSC
        Garba Night. Garba styles of young
        participants  were  very  unique  and
        if  it  was  judged  by  any  Bollywood
        Choreographer, then first word from
        their mouth might be WOW.

        After the first break, all the art-
        ist & the talented team mem-
        bers were  honored with  the

        proclamations. From Gujara-
        ti Society G S Zala, Gayatriba
        Zala, Jawahar Shah, Lata Ahir,
        Rajendra Vora, Nalini Solanki

        & Jagdish Purohit worked very
        hard to make it a very success-
        ful Garba Night. While Parimal
        Shah & Yogi Patel were instru-

        mental in procuring the venue
        & honor.

            It was a memorable Garba night
        & Angelenos were thanking orga-
        nizers for hosting such festivities &
        hence keeping our Indian culture
        alive in the western world.
