Shakti USA Hosts Fourth Annual
Ganesh Festival with Large Crowd

hosted its Fourth Annual Ganesh Festi-
Tval on Sunday, drawing a large crowd to
celebrate South Asian culture and community.
The event featured over 20 vendors offering a
variety of items, including traditional clothing,
jewelry, and a wide range of delicious Indian
cuisine. Attendees also had the opportunity
to explore services offered by local businesses
from the South Asian community.
In addition to shopping, the festival hosted
cooking and singing competitions for both chil-
dren and adults, creating a lively atmosphere of
friendly competition. Talented dancers and in-
strumental music performers took the stage in
talent showcases, adding to the cultural richness
of the event.
Local politicians and community leaders,
including the Mayor of Parsippany, were present
to show their support for the festival. Their at-
tendance highlighted the importance of cultural
events like these in fostering community unity.
The purpose of the Ganesh Festival was not
only to celebrate culture but also to raise funds
for charitable causes. Shakti USA, a nonprofit
dedicated to empowering communities, used the
event to bring people together while giving back.
