         atlanta celebrates ‘Diwali Halchal’ on a grand scale

           n  the  post-pandemic  phase,
           ATLANTA  celebrated  its  first
        IDIWALI  on  a  Grand  Scale,  on
        November  13th,  2021,  at  “DeSana
        Middle  School,  Alpharetta,  Geor-
        gia,  USA”.  The  Event  was  named
        “DIWALI HALCHAL”, meaning “A
        Celebration  including  Uncountable
        Activities and Fun.”
            TWO  STRONG  &  BEAUTI-
        FUL  WOMEN  from  “Atlanta  Indi-
        an Family” (Sruthi Chittoory) AND
        “Dance  Kidz  Dance”  (Swetha  Pa-
        kala)  brought  over  1500  people  to-
        gether  making  the  event  a  HUGE
        GRAND SUCCESS. It was a packed
        community celebration.
            The event was photographed by
        “Vinod Devlia”, DJ & Dance Floor
        by “DJ SWAG - Music Done Right
        (Naz & Tariq)”, Emceeing by “Neeli-
        ma  Sen”  &  the  entire  Decoration
        was done by “Creative Bells Events”.
            “Mr. Davendar Singh, Consular
        from Consulate General of India, At-
        lanta, Georgia”, “Mr. Bob Erramilli,
        Johns Creek City Council, Georgia”,
        “Dr. Charan Shikh, Founder & Pres-
        ident of Indo- American Medical As-
        sociation” were the “Guests of Hon-
        or” at the Event.
            “Mustafa  Ajmerii”,  “Venkat
        Meesala”,  “Sai  Ram  Karumanchi”
        & “Ganesh Kasam” graced the event
        and were biggest supporters through-
        out the event.
            There  was  a  mesmerizing  fash-
        ion  show  at  the  event  by  “Oitijhyo
        - The Tradition” owner is “Anusmi-
        ta  Bardhan  Sur”;  Dhamakedar
        Dance  Performance  by  “Bolly  Z”
        owner  is  “Joyita  Hegde”;  An  en-
        tertaining   musical   performance
        by  “SixStrings”  and  many  other
        beautiful  performances  by  kids  be-
        tween  the  ages  3  to  12  years  old.
            There was a beautiful “Arti Thali
        Decoration Contest”, Kids Costume
        Contest  (Mythological  Characters)
        and  all  the  viewers  thoroughly  en-
        joyed different cultural programs.
            There  were  many  delicious
        Food  stalls,  including  Indian  au-
        thentic  menu,  pizza,  Indian  Chat,
        Desserts etc. The venue was greatly
        packed with some amazing sponsors
        and vendors. Overall, it was “Diwali
        HalChal”, a night to remember and
        cherish for life. It was a perfect occa-
        sion to bring back those smiles and
        togetherness in the society.
