                    GIC’s debut film “The Foot Prints” gets



               six awards in various categories at Mumbai

              he film ‘Pairom Ke Nishan’, the Hindi ver-
              sion  of  GIC’s  short  film  touching  the  life
        Tof Mahatma  Gandhi ‘The  Foot  Prints’,
        screened in the Mumbai International Film Festi-
        val for Non-Feature Films, bagged six Best Awards.
        This is one among the few films screened out of 126
        that participated in the festival.


        The  Awards  are  announced  for  the  Best
        Screen Play - Prof. K. P Mathew, Director
        - K.C. Thulasidas, Cinematographer - Don

        Paul, Music Director - Sandeep Thulasidas,
        Best Actor - George Paul (Role of Mahatma
        Gandhi), & The Best Hindi Short Film -’ Pai-
        rom Ke Nishan’ - Producer - Babu Rajan.


            “Congratulations to the script writer Prof. K P
        Mathew, the Director Mr. Tulsidas and all others
        who worked to materialize ‘The Foot Prints’ and
        bagged six awards in an international film festival.
        It is definitely a feather on the cap of our GIC”.
        Mr. P. C Mathew, the Global President of Global
        Indian Council commented.
            The GIC Global Community congratulated its
        Global President Mr. P.C Mathew and Goodwill
        Ambassador Mrs. Jija Madhavan Harisingh, and
        others for their acting roles in this movie.
            GIC General Secretary Sudhir Nambiar com-
        mented that this short film of 45 minutes duration
        will be a milestone on GIC’s path towards excel-
        lence. He congratulated the crew behind this along
        with the GIC Cabinet and Founders.
            Tom George Kolath, GIC Cabinet Member and
        well-known film producer stated that this is a proud
        moment for GIC family, and this movie ‘The Foot-
        prints’ may touch many people’s hearts. Since the
        art of cinema is the most influential technical media
        of this century, GIC will have more projects in the
        future with the concept of immense social impact.
            Prof. Joy Pallattumadom, the Global V.P of
        GIC, who presided over the switch on ceremony of
        the production of this film, held at Elamon Mana
        Thiruvalla, congratulated the entire production
        team including the Director Thulasidas, Script
        writer Prof. K.M Mathew, actors, actresses, the
        brilliant  technicians,  and  supporting  staff,  whose
        team work made this film project possible within
        a record short period. He also congratulated Mr.   Kolath, Dr. Tara Sajan, Adv. Susan Mathew, Adv.   In a statement, Prof. Pallattumadom thanked
