IDP USA unveils parade plans for
2024 at a glittering event

ndia Day Parade (IDP) USA had
their Curtain Raiser and Press
IConference on Friday, June 28th,
2024 at the Theodore Roosevelt Exec-
utive and Legislative Building in New
York, where officials and special digni-
taries were present along with Senator
Steve Rhoads and Mr. Vishal Jayesh-
bhai Harsh, Indian Consul (HOC &
CPIO) in New York as chief guests.
A Citation was presented to Con-
sul Harsh on behalf of Nassau County
Executive Bruce Blakeman by Sena- IDP Team members present

by leading businessman Mr Anil Jain
and Private Client Representatives of
Chase Bank besides other sponsors
and esteemed community leaders and
entrepreneurs.
This year the 13th India Day
Parade celebrating India’s 77th In-
dependence Day is being organized
on August 25th, 2024 and will begin
in Long Island from Patel Broth-
ers 415 S. Broadway, Hicksville, NY
11807 with several colorful floats and
over fifty Marching groups and music
bands in lead besides the largest IDP

India Day Parade stage will feature
traditional dances, musical perfor-
mances, and a variety of cultural dis-
plays, presenting a vibrant showcase
of India’s rich cultural ethnicity.
The India Day Parade is an annu-
al event that celebrates the progressive
Indian Community at large coming to-
gether and jubilantly rejoicing to mark
