ran visited the Guru Nanak Darbar
of Long Island in Hicksville. At the
Gurdwara, the Minister sought bless-
ings and highlighted the remarkable
contributions of the Sikh community
in India’s nation building. He urged
the community members present to
participate in celebrations of ‘Azadi
Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, 75 years of In-
dia’s independence, according to a
press release from the Indian Consul-
ate in New York.
In his remarks, the Minister also
touched upon Prime Minister Na-
rendra Modi’s strong outreach to V Muraleedharan launching the mobile App of @IndiainNewYork at a gathering of members of the Indian Diaspora in New York
the Sikh community including the
recent celebrations of 400th Prakash

historic Red Fort in New Delhi and
