              American Multi-Ethnic Coa-
        tlition on Feb 19, 2022 was the
        glittering event which recognized the
        extraordinary work done by Mr. Anil
        Loomba, especially during the chal-
        lenging time when Covid 19 was rav-
        aging the world. Bestowing the Gold-
        en Eagle award on Mr. Anil Loomba,
        Cook County Board President Toni
        Preckwinkle lauded him for his gener-
        osity and business acumen to accom-
        plish timely delivery of oxygen cylin-
        ders and concentrators to hospitals in
        India which were struggling to serve
        the hundreds of thousands stricken
        with Covid. This was  in addition  to
        his and his family’s generous dona-
        tions to United Punjabis of America
        toward its drive for Chicago area food
        banks and food pantries. Among the
        many dignitaries at the Gala were US
        Congressman Danny Davis, US Con-
        gressman Bill Foster and US Con-
        gressman Raja Krishnamoorthi.
            These noble actions by Mr.
        Loomba came as no surprise to those
        who have followed his meteoric rise
        in the business world with a parallel
        increase in his support for charities in
        the US as well as in India.
