A video messages conveying con-
gratulations on the 75th Republic
Day were played from notable fig-
ures, including New York State Gov-
ernor Ms. Kathy Hochul, Congress-
man Brian Fitzpatrick, etc.
In Edison, NJ, HindiUSA also
celebrated India’s 75th Repub-
lic Day on January 26, 2024. It
was celebrated across 26 Hindi
schools it operates nationwide
with more than 4,000 students
and 500 volunteers participat-
ing in the celebrations to spread
the spirit of unity and national
pride. The celebrations empha-
sized the significance of the Re-
public Day of India.
Edison Hindi School, the larg-
est in the system, saw a turnout of
over 500 participants to celebrate
the occasion. Schools in other re-
gions including, Cherry Hill-NJ,
Northborough-MA, St Louise-MO,
Wilton, and Stanford schools in CT
joined the celebrations with patri-
otic spirit.
With ‘Jana Gana Mana’ , the na-
tional anthem of India, the program
was initiated along with the US na-
tional anthem. Teachers then spoke
on the importance of Republic Day,
underlining its distinctive signifi-
cance for the people of India.
In Houston, TX, Indian Ameri-
cans celebrated India’s achievements
and aspirations at the 75th Republic
Day in Houston at various events,
showcasing cultural diversity and
pride, dressed in their best vibrant
ethnic outfits. Consul General of
India, D C Manjunath, unfurled the
national flag and addressed the com-
munity to convey the speech of Indi-
