             outh Asian Advisory Board chairman Harry Malho-
             tra  along  with  Rajeev  Maini,  proprietor  of  The  Met-
        Sropolitan,  and  Zeshan  Hamid  organized  a  Meet-
        and-Greet victory celebrations for winning candidates of
        Republican  Party  on  December  9  at  The  Metropolitan.
            With the blessing of Republican Party chairman Joe Cai-
        ro, the win across Nassau and Suffolk counties in the recent
        elections was celebrated with Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor
        Joseph Saladino, Oyster Bay Councilwoman Michelle John-
        son,  Town  of  North  Hempstead  Supervisor  elect  Jennifer
        Desena, Town of North Hempstead town clerk elect Ragini
        Srivastav, Legislator Ms. Rose Walker, Candidate for Legisla-
        tor Dan Alter, Nassau GOP vice chair Shehryar Choudhary,
        Nassau GOP vice chair Sharanjit Thind, Zahid Syed, Direc-
        tor  Cultural  affairs,  Town  of  Hempstead,  and  Lionel  Chit-
        ty, the  executive director, minority affairs, Nassau County.
            Along with friends and community leaders in attendance,
        different associations, community residents were commend-
        ed on their effort and hard work for making this win happen
        with South Asians, Asians, the Nepalese community, Afghan
        Americans of NY, NY South Asian Chamber, and many more.
            The red wave, as it is being called, has taken the counties,
        towns and other parts of the country during these elections as
        people are tired of rising gas prices, shortage of daily necessi-
        ties items, insecurity and more importantly safety and security
        where bail reform was a major concern.
