he Iselin Adult Day Care Cen-
ter and World Vegan Vision
Tjoined forces on Friday, August
11th, to celebrate India Independence
Flag Hoisting Day. The event, which
took place at the Iselin Adult Day Care
Center in Woodbridge, N.J, brought
together approximately 250 attendees.
The ceremony commenced
with heartfelt speeches and wishes
from esteemed guests. Renowned
singer Varsha Joshi delivered a pa-
triotic song, while event emcee Kul-
raj Aanand led the singing of the
American National Anthem. Deputy
Consul General Dr. Varun Jeph and
Acharya Lokesh Muni unfurled the
Indian flag, accompanied by the In-
dian national anthem, to honor the
significance of this historic day.
During his speech, Deputy Con-
sul General Varun Jeph expressed
his gratitude and stressed the impor-
tance of celebrating this day with se-
niors and members of the community.
He also recognized and commended
World Vegan Vision for their mis-
sion, calling for everyone’s support.
Deputy Consul General Varun Jeph
extended special thanks to the Pub-
lic Relations Director, Nitin Vyas, for
organizing the event.

Acharya Lokesh Muni empha-

sized the significance of the
celebration, highlighting peace
and harmony as essential val-
ues to uphold.

The success of this event was made
possible through the support and col-
laboration of various organizations.
A vegan lunch was served to all
the guests, promoting healthy and
sustainable food choices.
