Indian T20 Cricket Team bowls over the diaspora at NY Consulate

he Indian Consulate in New York hosted a
reception to welcome Team India on 10th
TJune. The Indian national team is playing
cricket in New York for the first time, with the US
hosting the prestigious ICC T20 Cricket World
Cup also, for the first time. In an interactive ses-
sion, the event brought alive the game of cricket
in the minds and hearts of every Indian American
present there. Rohit Sharma, the T20 captain, and
Rahul Dravid, the head coach of the Indian cricket
team, and all other team members bowled over the
Indian diaspora leaders present at the reception.
