(NGO) accredited by the Economic and Social
Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations], was
an invited speaker at the United Nations Confer-
ence on Eradicating Poverty in all its forms and
dimensions through promoting sustainable devel-
opment, expanding opportunities and addressing
related challenges (July 17-20, 2017), in New York
City on July 20, 2017. Ministers from UN member
countries from all over the world, ambassadors,
representatives from NGOs, economists and social
workers attended this conference.
Dr. Chelluri’s talk on the theme of “Eradicating
Poverty” presents the current worldwide epidemic
of poverty and forcefully appeals for its eradication
through sustainable development and expanding
