$8 Million from NYC Council to Expand Emergency
Department and Upgrade Primary Care Practice

cation to NYC Health + Hospitals/
Kings County. The funding supports
two multi-year projects: $5 million
to add two trauma bays to the hos-
pital’s emergency department and $3
million to upgrade its primary care
practice. The projects will strengthen
critical access to health care for Cen-
tral Brooklyn residents and beyond
Kings County Hospital, which serves
more than 700,000 patients annually.
