        Saturday Aug 20th, 2022 festivities be-
        gan with the hoisting of the tricolor flag
        of India. This was followed by the ren-
        dition of the national anthems of both
        countries, India and the United States,
        in the presence of dignitaries and
        leaders. A chariot of Lord Jagannath,
        an avatar of Lord Vishnu, adorned
        with intricately decorated deities and
        traditional ornaments led the parade,
        accompanied by devotional songs.
